Louise Weseth shares hauntingly atmospheric single, ‘Woodlands’.
Louise Weseth is a Norwegian artist and songwriter currently based between Copenhagen and Oslo. Her style consists of dreamy folk that is as atmospheric as it is hauntingly beautiful. Her work is mostly self produced like many artists in the vein of Weseth, creating truly self expressing pieces that are rich with different textures and motifs and sonically intruiging. As a single Woodlands is a great contained piece but as part of a larger body of work I imagine Weseth has the potential to really create something expansive and complimentary to her style. Woodlands seems like a step in the right direction for Louise as earlier work, although great, is far more stripped back and brimming with potential which Woodlands delivers on.
